Japanese Maples
Although these are famous for autumn colour, Japanese maples can give a kaleidoscope of colours from spring to autumn. These magnificent trees come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and are happy to grow in a pot.
Some varieties are ideal for the art of Bonsai and give years of pleasure to collectors.
The maples grown on the nursery are grafted Maples which we have over the years bought in stock along with some grafting on the nursery from our stock plants.
Perennials
From Acanthus to Zantedeschia we grow a wide range of ornamental perennials with a selection to suit most gardens and conditions, from sun lovers to deep shade , wet gardens to dry gardens and perennials which can be grown in containers for even the smallest of space.
Hostas
Hostas are a versatile plant which can add eye catching structure to Gardens and containers. They can complement planting schemes or look stunning in a pot on their own .
Ferns
We have a selection of evergreen and deciduous ferns for cool shady parts of the garden. They can add fluffy feather textures or dramatic Jurassic type shapes to the area. Green glossy leaves , dark stems or glowing bronze fronds along with subtle burgundy not all ferns are green and if they are green they have amazing shades and textures.
Wildlife Friendly Plants
We love wildlife. The nursery and surrounding areas are buzzing with bees, butterflies, hedgehogs, frogs and toads. We are continuously striving to encourage and support more as the nursery and garden areas develop.

We are plant lovers and we love finding a new variety and some take years to propagate and build enough numbers up but we like to share our finds with enthusiastic gardeners.
