We love wildlife and the nursery is buzzing with Bees, butterflies birds hedgehogs, frogs and toads and we have tried to encourage more.
We grow an eclectic selection of plants and the list is ever growing and we will continue to expand our selection. We have over 100 varieties of Hosta, 120 varieties of Japanese Maples and 100s of Perennials along with Shrubs and Conifers.
We grow in peat free compost and try to source other stock in peat free compost and use biological control and fully recyclable pots are now working their way now throughout the whole of the nursery.

We have tried to select as many plants which provide benefit to support our wildlife and the local environment and also encourage people to grow with adding wildlife benefits whatever space you have.
We are actively trying to expand this section and next year we will have hopefully a designated site which will enable more interaction along with advice and support
