Japanese Maples

Although these are famous for autumn colour, Japanese maples can give a kaleidoscope of colours from spring to autumn.

Our Plants

We grow an eclectic selection of plants and the list is ever growing and we will continue to expand our selection. We have over 100 varieties of Hosta, 170 varieties of Japanese Maples and 100s of varieties of perennials shrubs and conifers

We grow in peat free compost and try to source other stock in peat free compost and use biological control and fully recyclable pots are now working their way now throughout the whole of the nursery.

Japanese Maples

Although these are famous for autumn colour, Japanese maples can give a kaleidoscope of colours from spring to autumn. These magnificent trees come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and are happy to grow in a pot.
Some varieties are ideal for the art of Bonsai and give years of pleasure to collectors.

The majority of maples grown on the nursery are grafted named varieties, produced here in Lancashire by our own propagation team lead by Karl

Encouraging Wildlife
